    Symposium:

    "New Spain: The First Flowering of American Colonial Arts"

    10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

    An international group of scholars will convene to discuss artists working in Viceregal Mexico. The program will illuminate the works featured in the Museum's landmark loan exhibition, Painting a New World: Mexican Art and Life, 1521 - 1821, the largest exhibition of Mexican colonial art ever assembled in the United States.

    Admission to the lectures, including a box lunch, is $25 per person ($15 for Meadows Museum Members). Since seating is limited, reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may be made by calling 214.768.2727.
